Morning Jumpstart Routine

Mornings can be rough, but if you use the first thirty minutes the right way, it will make your whole day better.

MORNING JUMPSTART

0-5 Minutes: Stretch

5-10 Minutes: Sun Salutation

10-15 Minutes: Brew a cup of green tea

15-25 Minutes: Drink your tea and write down 5 reasons to be happy and 3 goals

25-30 Minutes: Meditate on your day

This jumpstart routine wakes up your body and mind in a positive and nurturing way. The yoga opens your body and relaxes and stretches your muscles.

Drinking green tea warms up the stomach and speeds up your metabolism. I like drinking hot drinks in the morning because they make me feel warm and cozy!

Writing down your goals and happiness helps you visualize your life and ambitions. This can really affect your mood in a positive way, and its fun to look back on what you thought months ago in terms of goals and happiness.

If you don’t know how to meditate, try using the Headspace App. This app really changed my views on meditation and showed me how to use meditation to make me feel more positive. I like to spend more time on this, and I meditate when I wake up, as well as right before bed.
