I have been drinking so much tea lately, and I really love it because I am not drinking any soda or high sugar juices, and I don’t miss them at all.

There are a lot of different teas, but the three most popular are variations of black, green and white tea. Back tea has the most caffeine of all the teas, so if you are looking for a substitute for coffee, its a great place to start.

Here are some health benefits of the three different teas:

Green Tea: Green tea is definitely regarded as the healthiest of teas. It’s almost impossible to not hear about it on every health website! Green tea has a high concentration of EGCG, which is what makes it so special. In some studies, it has shown to interfere with cancer growth, prevent clotting of the arteries, burn fat, help with stress, reduce risk of neurological disorders and improves cholesterol levels. It has also been shown to help with metabolism.

Black Tea: Black tea is definitely the most commonly consumed in the U.S. If you are from the south, your favorite southern sweet is a black tea. It has shown to possibly protect lungs from smoke damage and reduce the risk of a stroke.

White Tea: White teas contain the most anti-cancer properties. It is considered the best tea to prevent cancers. However, keep in mind that this not a concrete truth.

Tea also lowers the risk of depression and diabetes. I am not a doctor, this is just information I have found from medical sources.

There are also herbal teas, but these teas are so vastly different because of the ingredients that there isnt any blanket approval for them.
