Spring Cleaning has begun and some of the worst messes live all year in your kitchen. This video brings some helpful tips in getting a deep clean in your food space.

The first thing we are going to is clean our stainless steel sink. Make sure you pick up all food things before we begin. Start by sprinkling baking soda all over the sink. Then, cut a lemon in half and use it to buff away grime. The acid in the lemon breaks down the grime and the baking soda acts as a gentle abrasive. After you are done, wipe off all excess baking soda. Then get a oil, I used olive oil, and pour it over the sink. Then get a paper towel to buff clean the sink. Voila! What a pretty sink!

Next, it is time to clean the fridge. I just dump all my old leftovers and expired food and wipe away the crumbs. I use a cleaner that is one part vinegar and one part water, so I don’t have to worry about chemicals mixing with food.

Unless you have children running around, it is easy to forget to wipe down the front of counter tops. I always make sure I get them clean during spring cleaning and I use the same vinegar spray.

Next up is the microwave! In a bowl, add water and another half of lemon juice. Microwave for five minutes and let seep for two more minutes. Wipe of the crumbs and youre done! Easy peasy!
