How to spend spring break at home
Advertising makes you think if you spend your spring break at home, you are weird and awkward. WRONG! For most of us, we have work, and we don’t have money!
But spending Spring Break at home doesn’t have to be awful! There are still so many ways to do new and fun things! Here is how to spend spring break at home:
Go Exploring
There are so many places I never have the time to go to in my own home city! When I have a break, I like to go and check those place out! There are so many things in your own backyard that you can do! Check out the new trendy coffee shop or sandwich place everyone has been talking about!
Go Hiking
I am moving to a place full of beautiful parks, and most cities have their fair share of the same! Go out and get some fresh air and some natural beauty!
Read a Book
I never have time to read! I watch TV all the time because I can multi-task, but with a book, you need to focus your full attention! This is a great time to sit down and dive into the book you have been meaning to read!
Go thrifting
You might not have money to go on a fancy vacation, but I am sure you can find something at your local thrift store. Thrifting takes so much time since you are basically digging for treasure, and you always find weird and cool stuff! This is a great way to waste some hours!
Have a DIY day
You pin all of these cool ideas, but you never actually do them! Pick a few, head to Michaels, and DIY your little heart out! You can even invite friends or family to join you, and you can have a DIY Pinterest party! I have so many DIYs on the back burner, I would love the chance to do some of them!
