Loreal True Match Lumi Cushion Review and Demo

It’s time for a foundation demo! Introducing Loreal True Match Lumi Cushion!

I love the original True Match Lumi, so when I saw the new cushion version, I was salivating to try it! However, I was in the middle of moving, so I had other priorities above trying out a new foundation (bummer, am I right?).

But now that I am back on my feet, I headed to my nearest CVS and bought myself this bad boy (and couponed it for only $7)!

Be sure to watch the video (warning, we got some Schmidt drama in there), but here is a brief cons and pros list:

CONS:

Applicator sponge

PROS:

Lightweight formula

Hydrating

Great skin tone match

BASIC INFO:

Light to Medium coverage

Luminating

Dewy finish

Overall, this will definitely become a staple foundation for me! It is great for my dry skin, and I love the lightweight formula for the warmer months. I will definitely be on the hunt for a better way to apply it.

I have tried using a brush and a beauty blender, but I just love the pad the best. I just need to find a way to buy multiples of the pad without draining my pocketbook.

Have you tried this foundation? What are your thoughts on the applicator?

  • Oh god, that sponge looks really suspicious and kind of gross, but the coverage looks gorgeous! I also love that it kept your blush and bronzer, a lot of my foundations tend to absorb them by the end of the day, boooo.
I really want to try this foundation, it reminds me of those Maybelline bouncy blushes; I never tried those but the weirdness of the product always drew me in haha.
