Copycat Hibachi Mushroom Onion Soup

This homemade copycat hibachi soup recipe is a delicious and comforting dish that's easy to make in just 30 minutes. Packed with flavorful ingredients like shrimp, mushrooms, onions, and carrots, and garnished with fresh cilantro and lime, it's the perfect way to warm up on a chilly day.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Sliced Mushrooms
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • ¼ tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • ¼ cup Chopped Scallions

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  • Add the mushrooms, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, salt, garlic, and black pepper to the pot.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the soup simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.
  • Add the scallions and cooked rice to the pot.
  • Stir to combine and let the soup simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Serve the soup hot and enjoy!
